SAFR

Protocols and Supplies & Hospitals

Two pages in the SAFR sidebar, each answering one question. Protocols is reference: what to do. Supplies & Hospitals is about what you carry and where you can take a patient.

Protocols

One list holds every treatment protocol and every hazmat entry, with one search box. Search a title, a tag, a UN number or a hazard class: anaphylaxis, tourniquet, 1203, flammable gas. The Protocols and Hazmat chips narrow the list to one kind. Click an entry to read it on the right.

Each section (EMS, Fire, AirMed, Vitals, Hazmat) folds open and shut from its header, and Collapse all and Expand all do them all at once. Your browser remembers which ones you folded. While you search, every section with a match opens, so a folded section never hides a result.

On a narrow screen the page is one column: the list, and after a click the entry with a Back button.

It is a reference, not a checklist that records anything. Nothing you open here is logged; what you actually did belongs in the incident log and the report. For the hazmat entries, see Hazmat.

Supplies & Hospitals

  • Left: what is left in your community's supply depot. See Unit Inventory.
  • Right: which hospitals are accepting, with a route to each. See Hospitals.
info

In Station Mode the left column is Apparatus supplies: what each deployed apparatus carries, yours first. See Station Mode.

They sit side by side because both answer the same question before you commit to a plan: can I actually do this. On a narrow screen they stack and the page scrolls as a whole.
