SAFR

SAFR MDT Overview

SAFR covers fire and medical. The terminal is built around one idea: the call you are on comes first, and everything you need during that call — patient history, hazmat data, hospital capacity, the protocol you half-remember — sits one click away on a single board.

Case Files holds investigations that outlive a single call — see Case Files. It works the same for SAFR as for LEO.

Plus Messages underneath, and your 10-code status buttons and GO OFF-DUTY at the bottom.

info

In Station Mode there is a Station page directly under Active Call: your crews and the apparatus at your station. Active Call shows a Toned out card when an apparatus you crew is called out, and Supplies & Hospitals shows what each apparatus carries instead of the depot. See Station Mode.

Active Call

/fire-ems is home. Not on a call it shows the Attached Call Interface reading "NO CALL ASSIGNED TO UNIT // STANDING BY", with CREATE CALL above it and the live unit list beside it.

On a call, the terminal becomes that incident: the details, the other units, the patients and vehicles, and the operational log.

Something you came across yourself can also be filed from the game, without opening the tablet at all — /cg, in two forms:

You typeThe call is titled
/cg Car fire on the interstateCar fire on the interstate
/cgSelf-initiated call + your callsign

Otherwise the two are the same: your location, SAFR as the responding service, priority 2 and no incident type yet, with you attached and set on scene. It is the call CREATE CALL makes, minus the form — see Incidents & Calls.

Reference and supplies

Two pages in the sidebar carry the tools you reach for during a call. See Protocols and Supplies & Hospitals.
