Discord Role Mapper
LUX CAD has no user list of its own. Who can open LEO, who can dispatch, who can change settings — all of it comes from Discord roles in your server. The role mapper is where you say which role means what.

How it works
Each CAD role gets one or more Discord roles mapped to it. A member holding any of them gets that access; a member holding none sees the department tile as Locked.
The check runs live, every time. Give somebody a role in Discord and their access is there on the next page load — no invite, no sync button, nothing to remove when they leave.
Why membership works this way
There is no member list to maintain, and that is the point: your Discord is already the source of truth for who is in your community. Somebody who leaves your Discord loses CAD access automatically, including access to a community they were staff in.
It also means the CAD cannot give access to someone who is not in your Discord server. If a player cannot see your community at all, that is the first thing to check.
Delegated admin
DELEGATED_ADMIN is the role that grants the admin dashboard without making
somebody the owner. Map it to your senior staff role and they can configure the
community without being able to take it over.
Treat it as seriously as you would server administrator: it can change the penal code, the status codes and the keys.
When Discord is having a bad day
If Discord is unreachable the CAD fails closed: players still see their communities, from the last known list, but only with civilian access until it recovers. Nobody is locked out permanently, and nobody gets a role they should not have.
That is a deliberate direction — an outage that hands out staff access is worse than one that briefly withholds it.
Troubleshooting
Almost every "I cannot get in" ends up being one of three things:
- They do not have the role. Check in Discord, not in the CAD.
- The role is not mapped, or is mapped to a different one with a similar name.
- They are looking at the wrong community. Roles are per Discord server, so a role in your main server does nothing on your development tenant.
